IT'S A BEAR!
Finally a Lombard Bear is born! This is my latest creation and a new Lombard Bear Design.
Meet Rhett...The Ladies Man.....oooppss...Bear!
He is my entry in the Spring Challenge at the TBACA site. So drop in and have a look!
Iam really HAPPY to say he WON an award of MOST CREATIVE BEAR!!!!!!
Rhett is OOAK in a series of 14 inch Lombard Bears!
He is made from a stunning hand dyed ,tipped mohair in cranberry shades with beautiful Amber glass eyes from the UK. Rhett has pulled paws which are made from a lovely soft port wine coloured leather and he is 9 way locknut and disc jointed. His face has been extensively needlefelted to a tight finish and then shaded to bring out his true character. He has been filled with wool, poly and steel shot so that he feels like a real bear! His jointing allows him to sit on his tush with his legs curled in like a real bear or sit like a traditional teddy bear with his legs straight out. Of course that is not all he can do...he loves to lay down on his tummy butterfly watching!!
He really is a bit of a ladies man.....BEAR! So watch out Ladies!
